KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fully own and deploy the market Multi Year Talent Plan. Orchestrate resources in the market and globally in order to deliver the strategy - multi year talent forecasting and close gaps
Builds reliable local succession pipelines that are diverse contributes to the development of global talent pools
Implementation of leadership talent standards owner of talent standards in the market.
Talent acquisition through collaborating with talent Engagement team & building employer brand
Talent development and commercial capability
Ensure service delivery in market including embedding new ways of working with Workday and compliance with local legal requirements;
Organization Development - Makes OD decisions that drive commercial success and agility in the organization and operating model efficiency. Is a key thought leader in the engagement agenda diagnosis and interventions. Owns overheads management and cost efficiency;
Performance management standards / processes & reward levers deliver business outcomes
Guarantee we have the right capability interventions both leadership and functional to deliver priority business outcomes
Develops and deploys a market L&D plan that is fully aligned to the MYTP present and future performance needs and which ensures that the business has the capabilities available
Frames global talent initiatives and capability programmers (L&D) in the market, and implementation of globally designed leadership and functional development programme.
Ensures high quality development plans in place that are being executed in line with functional requirements and leadership interventions
Brings external stimulus and best practice innovative thinking into learning and development approaches
Organisation Development
Makes OD decisions that drive commercial success and agility in the organization and operating model efficiency. Is a key thought leader in the engagement agenda diagnosis and interventions. Owns overheads management and cost efficiency.
Governance of major in-market change programs including organization structure to deliver strategy
Manages OH within AOP targets
Develops culture - Values Survey, benefits programs
Manages/ leads China employment relations framework & governance
Externally networked to leverage brand & knowledge
Transformation and Effective HR
Understands and operationalizes new insights and trends in HR such that Diageo is appropriately leading edge
Constantly reviews external and competitor changes
Assesses and monitors the effectiveness of the function and course corrects, enhances and modifies as required
Works with the Diageo Global HR model and leverages each aspect to gain optimal performance
Owns the execution of selected global policy at market level including, but not exclusively: OHS, Resourcing, Employee Alcohol and Human Rights Operational : Ensure service delivery in market including embedding new ways of working with Workday and compliance with local legal requirements.

Reward and Analytics
Sets market reward strategy in line with MYTP
Knows the market reward environment and intervenes, builds and challenges as
appropriate
Approves the annual market overhead and salary budgets
Designs and manages the delivery of benefits programs

Performance Management
Owns the adherence to performance management standards and tools
Coaches MD and GMs for continuous stretch in performance
Shared Services
Owns the performance of Shared Services
Monitors performance of regional SLAs and costs to ensure that services are
providing efficient and effective support to markets and be part of solution to rectify performance gaps
Compliance
Ensures compliance with local requirements
Adherence to and appropriate ownership of HR globally owned policies
Meets CARM and GAR standards
Drives embedding of safety culture across business
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years in HR leadership roles within multinational companies leading all areas of the HR function;
Degree qualified, preferably in HR, Psychology or Business;
Ability to influence and coach Senior Stakeholders;
Ability to influence and orchestrate globally;
Management of organizational change, effective change agent;
Able to identify and understand both the employees and the business needs and drive the necessary interventions;
Big thinker, develops strategy and translates into execution/ action
