Purpose of the position:
Being primarily responsible for marketing strategy, building brand relationships, working directly with leadership teams across all of our business units in order to drive new business opportunities by enabling innovative solutions, pushing key business initiatives, developing new partnerships, and deploying effective sales/marketing plans ensuring we achieve our objectives.
Responsibilities:
Defines brand marketing strategies and tactical plans
Develops/manages brand program budgets
Develops and maintains brand relationship and ensures that regular and appropriate communication with all brands under their management.
Communication of all programs, strategies, targets and other deemed applicable with the brand owners, and where require seeks their agreement and or approvals.
Regular reviews with the brand owner on progress
Responsible for Gross margin management and target achievement price setting and price control in the market
Aligns organizations/processes to achieve program goals
Develops and/or manages delivery of value propositions/messaging for assigned offerings
Develops and/or executes awareness and/or demand generation campaigns
Develops and/or executes upsell/cross-sell/attach efforts
May drive customer and partner development/relationships specific to brand programs
Determines brand program goals/benchmarks and tracks/analyzes results using closed-loop analysis
Direct cross-functional, cross-organizational teams and agencies in the development and execution of brand plans & budgets
Develop/own brand scorecard/dashboard and associated metrics/goals/ benchmarks; track/report progress against them
Develop value proposition(s), offering/ segment messaging, and manage/monitor their delivery
Develop/define customer segmentation strategies and customer experience plans and execute/monitor them
Perform marketing support activities as needed
Assist sales with development of sales training materials
Partner with senior sales management on key retailer/ development Education and
Skills and Experience:
Education
B.A. or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business, Technical or related field; MBA preferred
Proven leader with ability to make things happen
Highly structured, excellent organizational skills
Ability to work on own initiative and create business opportunities
Work Experience
5+ years marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing, partner marketing, market research and Customer database /analytics /
Agency, sales and/or channel experience
Skills
Ability to interface effectively with executive management across different business functions
Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams
